Password Guidance
The following is guidance when choosing a password:
- Use a password which is a minimum of 12 characters
- Use a password which is easy to remember, but hard to guess
- Do not share your password
- Do not write down your password
- Do not use the same password for multiple systems
An example of a good password would be using three words such as: pinkcustardhouse
Password Breach
If you suspect your password has been compromised, reset it using the 'reset your password' link on the ECG On-Demand login screen. If you are unable to do this, please contact technical support on 0345 521 2992.
Local Policy
Your organisation may have its own password policy in addition to the guidance contained within this document. Please speak to your local IT support or governance team for assistance on your policies if required.
